DESCRIPTION:Qualified faculty from The University of Arizona and its affiliates are encouraged to apply for cancer research funds made available through an American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant and the Arizona Cancer Center Support Grant. These funds are intended to provide seed money to new investigators to help them with starting their research programs and to obtain preliminary data in support of more extensive proposals. Only applications that relate to cancer research will be accepted. SUMMARY:Student Scholarship Services Logo Competition - $500 Scholarship to Winner
DESCRIPTION:The Student Scholarship Services Project\, or SSSP\, is in need of a logo!We are asking creative University of Arizona students to submit their logo designs to us by midnight on Sept. 30. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship.Rules\:Logo must incorporate the Student Scholarship Service Project name and SSSP initials in the design.Designs must be able to be printed in color as well as black and white.Logo must be able to scale up or down depending on use.Please send designs in a high resolution that will allow for printing at at least 8-by-10 inches at 300dpi (.jpg or.tiff format).All submitted work must be original.Submitted logos must fit within with UA branding guidelines\, found on Red Bar Café Web site. All entries must be submitted via e-mail to rsalcedo@email.arizona.edu no later than midnight Sept. 30.When submitting a design\, please include your name\, student ID number\, contact number and an e-mail address.The winning logo will be considered for use as the official logo of the SSSP. Copyrights to the winning logo must be signed over to the UA Office of Student Financial Aid.The winning logo must be approved by the director of the Office of Student Financial Aid\, Student Affairs Marketing\, and the Office of External Relations.
