Learning Technology Showcase

"Hands-On Instructional Technology" is the theme of the 13th Annual Learning Technology Showcase.

The schedule for this year's showcase is:

  • 8:30 a.m.-9 a.m. – Registration and continental breakfast.
  • 9 a.m.-9:50 a.m. – Keynote address by Tom Potter, "The Magic of Laughter," co-sponsored by the Well University Partnership.
  • 9 a.m.-noon – Poster sessions in ILC courtyard, including topics such as tablet PCs, Access Grid computing and Learning Technology Services.
  • 10 a.m.-10:50 a.m. – Breakout sessions on YouTube and iTunes and interactive instruction.
  • 11 a.m.-11:50 a.m. – Breakout sessions on YouTube for instruction, a D2L update and Second Life.

Learning Technology Services is a campus resource for the UA, providing support for faculty, all instructional personnel and researchers to integrate technology into academic activities. The LTS is a unit of University Information Technology Services.
