The University of Arizona Libraries will host a lecture and reception in the Science-Engineering Library for the exhibit "Mars: A Fictional Perspective."

The event will feature two presentations from local speakers:

• Carla Bitter, public outreach manager for the Phoenix Mars Mission, “Reality is the Best Fantasy: A Phoenix Mission Fairytale.”
• Gloria McMillan, professor at the UA and Pima Community College, "The Martians are US: Ray Bradbury's Cautionary Martian Chronicles."

Light refreshments will be served following the presentations.
