Volunteers are needed to help cut and dig out the invasive plant Giant Reed (Arundo donax) from the creek bottom. This plant is threatening the natural wildlife habitat and may soon dominate the landscape if these fast-growing, water-loving plants are not removed. Tools are provided, but wear boots, a hat, long-sleeve shirt and long pants. Participants may want to bring a backpack, water and gloves. Meet at the UA Visitor Center.
