Elections in the Middle East Film Series

The Center for Middle Eastern Studies presents the third film in its fall film series on elections in the Middle East.

"Frontrunner," directed by Virginia Williams, is the heroic story of the first woman to run for president in Afghanistan. Massouda Jalal's campaign inspired thousands of women across the country to participate in the democratic process.
