Preserving Afghanistan's Cultural Heritage - Public Lecture

Over the past three decades, Afghanistan has been devastated by foreign invasion and civil war. Within this fragile political environment, the country's institutions have struggled to preserve Afghanistan's rich cultural heritage, including artifacts, buildings and urban landscapes. This lecture, led by cultural heritage scholars, presents the current challenges and opportunities facing Afghanistan's cultural heritage sites and the future of the country's past. The lecture will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
