After a well-deserved week of rest, the Wildcats will head to Pullman for a battle with the Cougars.

The University of Arizona football team takes on Washington State on Nov. 8 with a kickoff time at 2 p.m. PST (3 p.m. in Arizona). The Wildcats play their next two games in the Northwest as the team looks to ensure its first bowl appearance since 1998.

The game marks the 36th meeting between the Cougars and Wildcats with their last meeting ending with a 48-20 Arizona victory in Tucson in 2007.

The Wildcats are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the Pac-10 conference. The Cougars are 1-8 overall and 0-6 in the conference.

Arizona walks onto the field ranked 18th nationally in total defense against a Cougar offense beset by injuries. While Arizona has enjoyed a relative stable season in terms of games lost to injury, the Cougars have worked to overcome about 40 missed games by starters, including two lost quarterbacks.

Freshman quarterback J.T. Levenseller is the Cougar's fifth quarterback to play the position this season.

UA quarterback Willie Tuitama currently ranks 22nd in the conference all-time with 7,814 passing yards and is currently tied for 16th all-time in touchdown passes with 59.

WSU head coach Paul Wulff is in his first year in Pullman with a record of 54-41 overall as a head coach.

Mike Stoops is now in his fifth year at Arizona and has a 22-32 record, but holds a 6-3 record in the last nine conference games. He is 2-1 against Washington State.

The game will not be broadcast on television but can be heard live on 1290 AM or 107.5 FM and in Spanish on 990 AM.
