The Black Graduate Students Association is hosting an event to teach both graduate and undergraduate students about financial responsibility.
The event called CASHFLOW, "Consistently Acquiring Secret Habits for Locating Our Wealth," is a financial wellness series that will help prepare students for life after college.
The first workshop will be held Jan. 24 on the topic of "Understanding the Basic of Finance." The event will cover topics such as personal family budgeting, assets, liabilities, credit, debt and needs versus wants.

Both programs will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one hour break for lunch, which will be included. Both workshops will be held in Room A-114 of Drachman Hall.
The event's guest speaker is Tony Finley, a chief financial officer for Long Realty Company in Arizona.
