History of Oaxacan Weaving by the Martinez Family

Join us at the Union Gallery to meet with the Martinez family. They will be discussing the history of traditional Oaxacan weaving techniques. This family of master weavers started with Eliseo Martinez and his 10 sons. They weave the highest quality in rugs and tapestries using the same ancient methods from their ancestors. Their traditional craft will be at the gallery for display and sale. This event is free and open to the public.
