The Department of Campus & Facilities Planning is holding its second set of workshops to address the update of the Comprehensive Campus Plan, which is used to guide the physical development of The University of Arizona campus.
A series of three two-hour workshops will be held on March 24 to encourage public involvement in the process. All UA constituencies, campus neighbors and the Tucson community are invited to attend.
The 10 a.m. workshop will focus on sustainability, a critical part of the Campus Plan. The consultant team of Ayers/Saint/Gross, Architects + Planners is soliciting ideas related to campus sustainability.
The 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. workshops will provide an opportunity for discussion on a wide range of issues, and for the consultants to present findings from the previous workshops and draft concepts for the Campus Plan update.
A campus-wide open house to present the Draft Plan Update is scheduled for April, and plan finalization is scheduled for May.
