Monday Night Film Series: No to Nuclear Energy
An expert panel will discuss "The Nuclear Relapse: How to Avoid the Return of a Failed 20th-Century Technology."
Dr. Rick Graap will cover the medical and safety aspects of commercial nuclear energy. Russell Lowes will reveal how the nuclear cycle is a large producer of greenhouse gases and how nuclear energy is bad economically for the ratepayer and taxpayer. Jack Cohen-Jappa will detail the safety record at the nation's largest nuclear plant, 35 miles west of Phoenix.
