Benefits Open Enrollment Dates Announced

The open enrollment period for benefits-eligible UA employees will begin Aug. 20.
The Arizona Department of Administration announced yesterday that the annual Benefits Open Enrollment period will begin on Aug. 20 and continue through Sept. 4.
The original enrollment period, scheduled for Aug. 10-30, was delayed due to a challenge to the state's contract awards for 2009-2010.
Benefits Expos are scheduled in Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff and Tempe at the following dates and times:
- Flagstaff – Radisson Woodlands Hotel, 1175 W. Route 66, Aug. 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Phoenix – ADOA, 100 N. 15th Ave., Aug. 25, 26 and 31, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Tucson – Marriott University Park Hotel, 880 E. Second St., Aug. 27, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Tempe – Four Points Sheraton, 1333 S. Rural Road, Aug. 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Benefit Guides are scheduled to be mailed to employees' home addresses next week and will be available online through The University of Arizona Human Resources Web site.
"We will continue to add more information about open enrollment to our Web site as we receive it from ADOA," said Allison Vaillancourt, vice president for human resources.
