
The department of chemistry and biochemistry is pleased to announce Richard N. Zare, Marguerite Blake Wilbur Professor in Natural Science at Stanford University, will be presenting two lectures. Professor Zare has won many prestigious national awards in his field, including the Priestly Medal from the American Chemical Society, Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring, the Wolf Prize and the National Medal of Science.
These lectures have been made possible through the Dr. Emily Davis and Dr. Homer C. Weed Lecture Endowment. This endowment seeks to promote scientific understanding of students and researchers and provide exposure to novel and original ideas.
