Schniedewind's talk is also part of the Shaol Pozez Memorial Lectureship Series and is being sponsored by the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies. Schniedewind is professor of biblical studies and Kershaw Chair of Ancient Eastern Mediterranean Studies at the University of California\, Los Angeles.
