"My Figure Fails to Tell Me How Far the Village Lies," an installation by Sarah Zidonik, explores the idea of communal healing and suffering. The artist creates connections to find community both out of desire and necessity. She states, "Community is not only a physical structure but is one made up of experiences and emotions of belonging." The artist addresses the spiritual and sacred bond within these experiences that are both hopeful and helpless.
