Formed by renowned violinist and Baroque specialist Fabio Biondi, Europa Galante did a recording of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" that sold a staggering 500,000 copies worldwide. On stage the group is energetic and joyful. This, combined with astounding precision, period instruments and well-honed expertise, makes this orchestra simply dynamite. They are joined by Genaux, one of the pre-eminent interpreters of Baroque and bel canto music, for an evening of Vivaldi arias and vocal fireworks.
