In conjunction with the UAMA exhibition "Consumer Consumption," Pennsylvania-based artist Matt Eskuche will talk about his art, including his monumental piece "Agristocracy."
Eskuche states, "My attraction to consumptive waste and its former life as a corporately advertised product seems eternal – from the 90s graphic design of a paper cup that boasts "I am absolutely average!" to the loud wrappings of the candy and sodas that beg for your attention from the convenience store aisles, their life cycles keep me grossly intrigued."
Eskuche and "Agristocracy" appear courtesy of the Arizona Glass Alliance and the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Studio Glass.
