It's here - Arizona's first Pinkberry. The popular frozen yogurt shop will open in the UA Student Union Memorial Center on Valentine's Day.
Got Pinkberry fever? Starting Feb. 14, you will be able to take care of it at the UA Student Union Memorial Center.
Pinkberry, the original tart frozen yogurt brand, is heading to college.
With more than 150 stores worldwide, Tucson is one of the newest markets for Pinkberry with the University of Arizona now housing the latest location for the much-craved frozen yogurt.
Known for its distinctive yogurt taste, Pinkberry – which first opened in West Hollywood in 2005 – offers premium frozen yogurt made with real nonfat yogurt and nonfat milk that is rBST hormone free.
The UA location will formally open with a grand opening event Feb. 14 to be held 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. More information is available on the Pinkberry at UA Facebook page.
Six distinctive flavors will be served: the signature flavor, a sweet and tangy yogurt; pomegranate, a bold and tangy flavor made with 100 percent California-grown pure pomegranate juice; salted caramel, a blend of salty and sweet; a rich, indulgent chocolate; mango, a fruity and light flavor made with authentic Alphonso mango puree; and blood orange, a fresh and tangy featured flavor that rotates seasonally.
Customers also can add any combination of fresh, delicious toppings, which include fresh fruit cut daily in-store, organic gummy bears with no high fructose corn syrup, all natural honey almond granola, 100 percent pure pomegranate juice and premium Belgian chocolate shavings.
Pinkberry also offers Pinkberry Take Home, 25 ounces of Pinkberry, swirled-to-order and packed on ice, in addition to fruit parfaits, smoothies and fresh fruit bowls.
The UA joins a select number of institutions across the nation with a Pinkberry, with others at universities in Georgia, Ohio and Virginia.
