Performance Reviews Through the Eyes of Employees: Myths, Fears & Opportunities

Thursday, November 6, 2008
12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

For too many employees, the annual performance review is an undesirable and cumbersome process owned by management. What can an employee do to enhance the effectiveness of the process and reframe review discussions as positive and beneficial? This interactive workshop will explore the benefits and challenges of annual performance reviews and consider the value of ongoing feedback. We will explore some “myths” about performance reviews and offer tools, models and resources to address the areas that employees can control: perception and preparation.
