Staff Council

Members of the Staff Advisory Council on Tuesday, Jan. 5, said they would pursue common interests with the members of the tri-university United Staff Council, an umbrella group for staffers in the state universities. SAC President Tricia Perkins said such a meeting might occur as soon as March.

In other business, SAC members began discussion of whether the state universities should pursue seating staff members on the Arizona Board of Regents, similar to the non-voting student regent position. The group also elected Christina Rocha as the organization's new recording secretary.
