

Arizona Public Media will offer live television coverage of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor on the new channel, PBS World, and will offer live streaming video of the national event on the Arizona Public Media Web site.
A live, unanchored audio feed of the hearings will also be available on the Radio page of the Arizona Public Media Web site. On KUAZ-FM 89.1 and 1550 AM, wrap-up specials are scheduled at 6 p.m. for each evening of the hearings, and special coverage from National Public Radio's "Talk of the Nation" program is scheduled at 12 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
Televised, gavel-to-gavel live anchor coverage of the confirmation hearings will be broadcast in southern Arizona on PBS World, the new 24-hour PBS channel from Arizona Public Media. PBS World is broadcast on digital Channel 27-3 and is available in the Tucson area on major cable providers Cox (Channel 83) and Comcast (Channel 203).
The confirmation hearings also will be available as a live video stream from the Live Events section of the Arizona Public Media Web site.
PBS World offers quality PBS programming 24 hours a day, and is part of the Arizona Public Media lineup of television program services.
