Video: Employees Vie for Softball Championship

They've been swinging all summer, and now players in the Faculty/Staff Softball League are preparing to slide into home with the league's championship game. Seven teams of about 20 members took to the field this summer to show off their athletic skills and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow employees. A campus tradition for some 25 years, the league draws several returning teams from units across campus, including the reigning champions, the University Medical Center Terminators. Spectators are invited to watch the championship free of charge at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Rincon Vista Sports Complex, at Tucson Boulevard and 15th Street.
