Please join us in kicking off the fall 2009 semester at the Institute of the Environment social, a great opportunity to meet and greet new and returning University of Arizona graduate students and faculty involved in environmental research. Tables will be available to display your department, course or program brochures or literature. Speakers will  include Jonathan Overpeck and Diana Liverman, co-directors of the Institute of the Environment; Andrew Comrie, associate vice president for research, dean of the graduate college, and director of graduate interdisciplinary programs; Joaquin Ruiz, dean of the College of Science; and Travis Huxman, director of the UA Biosphere 2 and B2 Earthscience. Roundtable discussions also are planned.
