SEDS SpaceVision 2009 Conference

SpaceVision is the annual SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) national conference.

Current conference speakers include:

  • Mark E. Kelly – NASA astronaut
  • Gabrielle Giffords – U.S. Congresswoman
  • Simon "Pete" Worden – director, NASA Ames Research Center
  • Richard Garriott – private space explorer/video game developer
  • Peter Diamandis – chairman and founder, X-PRIZE Foundation
  • Taber MacCallum – CEO, Paragon Space Development Corporation
  • Lynn Cline – deputy associate administrator for space operations, NASA
  • Chris Lewicki – chief engineer, LewickiDyne Systems

SpaceVision 2009 will feature a total of 25 different speakers, SEDS-USA workshops, a career fair, Flandrau planetarium shows, a star party, Steward Observatory Mirror Lab tours and a formal banquet. SpaceVision is not limited to just students; all members of the community are encouraged to attend!
