The Arizona Board of Regents today appointed Eugene G. Sander, vice provost and dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, president of the UA. Sander will serve on an interim basis until a permanent replacement for Robert N. Shelton is named.

The Arizona Board of Regents approved plans today for a UA Cancer Center clinic at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. Within 10 years of opening, the Arizona Cancer Center at Phoenix will treat approximately 60,000 patients each year.
