  • Regents Approve Funding Request, Scholarship Changes
    UANews | The Arizona Board of Regents gave the UA the OK to ask the state for about $388 million to fund faculty retention, enrollment growth, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and partnerships with community colleges. Also, the board approved Regents High Honors Endorsement Scholarship changes, and the university presidents discussed future campus goals. 
  • Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff to Hold Town Hall at UA
    UANews | Adm. Michael G. Mullen will visit campus for a Town Hall Friday, Oct. 1, that is free and open to the UA community and the public. His remarks will focus on the range of U.S. national security challenges, including how the Southern Arizona community can engage with returning service members and veterans.
